Bishop and Karnwyr - WIP

Update on my current WIP, since I've made a lot of progress since I uploaded it first.

Mainly, I added a background, which is mostly done, even though some tweaks (especially on the bush) are still due. I worked a lot on Bishop's face, too, fixed some perspective issues and made it narrower to have it look a bit more like in my previous picture. Still, his face is far from finished, I still need to correct the nose and I've barely touched the mouth and left eye until now.

I did some further work on the armor, but apart from the blade of the knife, the modifications are minor.

And I did four more redraws of his hair. Damn thing refuses to look like I want it to look. I think I'll stick with the version I have now, though - it's far from what I orignially pictured, but at least it looks halfway decent. Plus, I'm just too frustrated to waste any more time experimenting with hairstyles.

Edit 01/08/08: I uploaded the most recent version of this WIP - as you can see, I haven't worked much on this, and I doubt I will ever truly finish this. I might add some more brush strokes now and then, but after 50+ hours of work, I've grown so tired of working on this picture that the slightest case of "doesn't look like I want it to look" frustrates me beyond measure. This will probably be the last update.
